Baguma Crescent, aka Beenie Gunter is one of Uganda’s finest reggae/dancehall artists who has been in the industry since 2013.
The award-winning musician has collaborated with some of the biggest names both in Uganda including Eddy Kenzo, Lydia Jazmine, and Sheebah Karungi, as well as international stars including Jamaican stars like Beenie Man, Gyptian and Kranium and Nigerian hip hop artist- Skales.
But a successful career is not all there is to this talented musician, his personal life is thriving too and he has a young beautiful family.

Who is Beenie Gunter’s wife?
Beenie Gunter’s wife is a beautiful Ugandan woman called Nickie Berry. She is a fashionista and a social media influencer with over 26K followers on Instagram.
Nickie Berry who is a full-time mother is also a businesswoman with interests in the beauty and fashion industry. She owns a range of skincare products called NB Skin Care by Nickie Berry that are distributed online. She also runs an online store called Jowin Kids which provides a wide range of children’s goods from toys, to strollers, and even clothes.
According to sources, Beenie Gunter and his wife met in 2019 and started dating shortly after. Details about how and where they met have not been provided.
It is also not clear if Beenie Gunter and Nickie Berry have officially married, but the two lovebirds are very much in love and they always take every chance they get to shower each with love on social media with cute photos accompanied by even cuter captions.
Beenie Gunter’s children
In October 2020, the world learned that Beenie Gunter’s wife was expectant after the musician shared a photo of his wife in a fitting bodycon dress that showed off her growing bump.
A couple of days after sharing the photo, her wife who was apparently nine months pregnant at the time gave birth to a beautiful baby boy called Jowin who has the best of both his mother's and father’s looks.
Earlier in 2020 before welcoming his child, Beenie Gunter had been caught up in a paternity drama after a woman identified as Phiona Akankwansa came up with allegations that the No Offence hitmaker had gotten her pregnant in 2017 but had failed to provide support for his alleged child.
Beenie Gunter denied the allegations and demanded for a DNA test with a promise to support the child if the results proved that he was the father. Luckily for the artist, whose name and image were at risk following the whole scandal, the DNA test proved that he was not the child’s biological father.
What happened between Nina Roz and Beenie Gunter?
Prior to meeting his wife, Beenie Gunter was rumoured to be in a relationship with musician Nina Roz after the two were spotted together on many occasions in 2018.
The two musicians denied dating and confirmed that they were just friends and colleagues and they had been hanging out more than usual as they were working on a song together called International baby which was released in 2018.
