The โNakyukaโ singer will be battling some serious talent. Others nominated in the category include Nigeriaโs Burna Boy, Master KG from South Africa and Gaz Mawete from the DRC.
Sheebah has been campaigning for votes since she announced the good news. Her winning the award is a big deal for Ugandans. She will join a list of artists who have bagged international awards, including Eddy Kenzo - who has won a BET award before.
The award-winning performer took to her Instagram recently to rally for votes. She asked Sheebaholics to vote and spread the word. Wouldnโt you be proud if our very own brought the award home?
