Sheebah Gets Two MTV MAMAs Nods: See All Nominations

Sheebah has landed two nominations for the 2021 Pearl of Africa MTV MAMAs, which are set to be held right here in Kampala.

Sheebah will battle it out for the Best Female and Best Ugandan Act categories. For the big one, she'll come up against some of Africa's top divas like Nigeria's Tiwa Savage and Simi, South Africa's Sho Madjozi and Busiswa, and Cape Verde's Soraia Ramos.

And in the specially added awards host's Best Ugandan Act category, Sheebah has been nominated alongside Bebe Cool, John Blaq, Vinka, Daddy Andre and Spice Diana.

Other major East African nominees for the awards include Tanzanians Diamond Platnumz (with two nominations), Zuchu (one) and Harmonize (one). And representing Kenya, Khaligraph Jones (one), Sauti Sol (one) and Ethic (one).

The MTV Africa Music Awards Kampala 2021 will air on MTV Base (DStv Channel 322) and MTV (DStv Channel 130) on February 20th 2021..
