Spice Diana was one seemingly bitter artist after the recently concluded HiPipo awards did not recognize her efforts and contribution to the Ugandan music industry last year. The Africell ambassador who believes she had one of the best years in music rubbished the awards saying she could care less for them.

Now it seems she finally has something to rub in the organizer’s faces and prove she deserved an accolade or at least a nomination after being recognized by YouTube for hitting 100k subscribers on her Youtube channel.

Spice is walking head above shoulders after receiving the YouTube Silver Play Button. The Silver Creator YouTube award is given to channels that reach or surpass 100,000 subscribers. It is a cleaner-looking flat designed metal plaque award with the channel’s name engraved on it.

The Source Management singer shared the exciting news with followers on social media.
''Hey family we got it our YOUTUBE Silver award is here, all the way from USA to Uganda. Thank you, my subscribers. keep subscribing we a closer to the Gold award.''
She now joins the likes of Rema Namakula, Jose Chameleone who are recipients of the same award. This leaves Eddy Kenzo as the first and only Ugandan artist to receive the Gold Creator award after surpassing the 1M subscribers mark.
We know that Spice is also working hard to get there, but in the meantime, we congratulate her on this first step.

Congratulations Spice!
